Good to know

Questions.

How far ahead do reservations open?
Thirty days, at 10am. Friday and Saturday go quickly; Wednesday and Thursday you can usually get within the week. Cancellations get released back to the site all afternoon, so it's worth checking again around 4pm.
Can I walk in?
Yes - half the bar is held for walk-ins every night and it's never a lesser experience. If there's a wait we'll take your number and text you; there are three good places to stand around with a drink within a block.
Do you do dietary restrictions?
Happily, with notice. Note it on your reservation and the kitchen will build you something real rather than pulling components off a plate. Celiac, vegan, and most allergies are all comfortably handled.
Is there a dress code?
None. People come in from a hike and people come in from a wedding, often at the same table.
Can I bring children?
Of course. We have high chairs, and the kitchen will happily do buttered pasta for anyone under about eight. Early seatings are the easiest.
